Camp Crestview, Day 5

A good day. Not much talk about Jesus...hopefully people saw Jesus in us though :) It's the day we go to a waterpark and let the kids loose for like 5 hours. The leaders played sand volleyball...always a fun competition. My team lost a lot but a good time was had by all. I was glad I didn't get burned! I put on sunscreen twice.

Even though the school buses are air conditioned, it never cooled off on the way home. Except for 2 small areas on the bus, we were burning up...quite sad. I did get a little nap in on the way home though :)

The church is going on a mission trip to Myanmar (formerly Burma, right Vick?) and we all brought vitamins for the children in orphanages. The 5th and 6th grade camp brought over 8,000 vitamins in all!! My group won doughnuts and candy because we brought the most vitamins. The kids were pretty excited to win :)

I was sad to see the kids go. I can't believe how fast the week went by! I was soooooo very tired by the end of the day (actually, I was tired at the beginning but I was super tired by the end.). I came home, showered, got online for a bit, ate Chick that my wonderful boy brought me, and got in bed and went to sleep. I got 10 hours of sleep last night. I have been going to sleep super late and waking up super early every day so I needed some sleep!

Thank you for all of your prayers. I know some seeds were planted this week.

P.S. Can somebody remind me to get a Bible and send it to one of the girls in my group?? I know I will forget! (She had never opened a Bible before. I helped her find the verse I gave her to read and after that she was so excited. Anytime I needed a verse read she would volunteer. How awesome is that?! We take it for granted that we have God's Word but we really are so blessed to be able to have a Bible to read!!!!).

I plan to send them each a note and a copy of the group picture. Remind me to do that too :) Thanks!

Ahhh, yes, Myanmar is most definitely known formerly as Burma. I do believe I may have heard that somewhere! :Þ

{Reminder}Don't forget to get a Bible for that girl in your group AND to send each kid a note & group picture! {/Reminder} :)

P.S. I have enjoyed getting caught up on the Camp Crestview (or occasionally even Chrestview) updates. Sounds like you had a busy/crazy/awesome/fun week!
