Update on Colby & Gene
Colby and Gene are still struggling. I called Gene this morning to check on him and Colby. He said that he went to see him in the hospital and that he is on a lot of pain killers. He is still in the ICU. They are going to graft skin to fix his foot. He has metal clamps on his legs right now. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors, a quick recovery, and comfort for him!!
While he was at the hospital he saw a lot of the family and the grandma gave him a hug and said she was on the same end of the situation before. Gene didn't get a chance to talk to her about it.
Brad and I went to eat with Gene and Linda tonight. He said he keeps replaying it in his head and he said it changes the way he thinks about a lot of things. You can tell God is working in him. He has to deal with insurance stuff tomorrow I think. He is planning on paying to fix his truck without using insurance, but we do not yet know who is paying for Colby’s medical bills.
Please keep praying for them!

How sad...I'm praying for them. God can and will use this, and it's good to read that He is already working in Gene.
Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
I'll continue to pray
Still praying here too. My mom is praying hard for him as well. You are all in our thoughts daily and we know that with God's strength and the closeness of you all, Gene will get through this.
