What 11 Weeks Looks Like on Luke

When I lay Luke on the floor for tummy time he will hold up his head and arms and legs and "tummy surf". He will also surf on his daddy's belly.
He is beginning to love putting his hands in his mouth (he has always put his hands over his mouth when he was hungry but he is doing it a lot more now). Now he likes to try to stick his whole hand in there.

He is very strong and when he gets upset he will knock his little head into whoever is holding him. His legs are very strong too!
He is getting more hair on the top of his head...it is growing in quite nicely these days. It seems like the hair on top of his head is lighter than the rest.

He smiles when he recognizes someone. He gives his momma and poppa lots of smiles too (even during diaper changes...which is crazy because he has always disliked diaper changes!).

He loves to visit the Ye Olde English Bakery with his mommy and Auntie Vicki on Saturdays. He gives us lots of smiles.

He loves being read to and the other day when he was especially fussy I got out "I'll Teach My Dog 100 Words" and right when I started reading he calmed down and stared at the pages. Some days I read five or six books to him and he just loves it! :)

He is still quite the little tooter. Our friend Thomas was over the other night and he let out quite the toot...filling up a diaper in about two minutes. Gotta watch that little guy. You would never believe that such a noise could come out of such a little body. He is going to win contests one day (really).
He loves to be outside and will stop (even if he is crying) and look around. Sometimes I just stand out in the front yard with him and he takes it all in. :) We have been having wonderful weather so we have had a lot of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Occasionally when Brad comes home when we have plenty of daylight left we will head to the park and take him strolling on the trail. It makes for a happy Luke!

Lacdy ~ The first picture of Luke looks like he is reading the book. He enjoys you reading to him because you read to him when you were pregnant. He will be a great reader one day because you and Brad gave him the enjoyment of hearing your voices reading to him at night. God Bless you two for doing.
Love Mom

His hair really is coming in thick on the top of his head. It won't be too long before he will need his first hair cut...
