8 Weeks Old
Luke is a growing boy for sure! He is already 10 pounds and 6 ounces and I am not quite sure how long he is but he has grown inches since he was born. He just seems so very long to me for such a little guy. A lot of his 0-3 month clothes are getting too short! He is changing so much!
We can tell he is going to be such a wonderful little man...he has such a good disposition. He is advanced for his age, too. :) His new favorite thing is mimicking us when we stick out our tongues at him. (I know, that's a really good thing to teach him, lol!). I might try to share a video of it...it is too cute! He can hold up his head for minutes...I was reading about what he is supposed to be doing developmentally and it said that next month he is supposed to be able to hold up his head for a few seconds. Ha :) I read online that he isn't supposed to be sleeping "through the night" till he is 4 months old. He has been sleeping for 6 or 7 hours straight a night fairly consistently for the last few weeks. (= a happy momma!).
He is just the light of our lives. He brightens up our days and makes us feel all warm and giddy inside :) I know I have said it before...but I just love this stay-at-home-mom gig! It is the best! :) Sure, some days he is a little more fussy than others or I get frustrated because it feels like I can't get anything done because I have to feed him every two seconds (he really loves to eat) but it beats a 9-to-5 job (or a 9:30-to-6 job ;) anyday. :)
Can't believe that he is already 8 weeks old! Time is flying (what's new?!). Hope you enjoy the video...I've never posted one before so I hope I did it right :) Let me know if it doesn't work!

Great job with the video! He is quite the little boxer--looked like he'd take out the camera at any time :)
My favorite part of the video is when he just suddenly stops and looks straight at you, and you can just recognize in his eyes that he is looking at mommy!! Awww!!! :o)
Okay, I had to watch the video again. My new favorite part is Lacey squishing his cheeks, and Luke looks like he is thinking, "Mom, stop embarassing me!" LOL
I so totally love the stick out your tongue game! I love it when he does it! It's so cute! :)
