A Double Date

With Breann and David...



Always fun. It has been awhile since we got together with them. I think Breann was about 7 months pregnant the last time we went out...they now have a six month old baby girl!

We went to eat at Chilis and I enjoyed getting to watch sweet Anika Rose play with her toys. After we ate, we dropped Anika off at her grandparents house so that we could head downtown. We made a quick stop at Starbucks to get some coffee and then departed for a club where a friend of theirs was playing the drums. Very interesting, indeed. We even got to hear some new Concept7 music in the van (in the van, they're such parents! :) on the way home! :)

It is so good to spend time with Christian friends who love the Lord with all that they have in them. They are following hard after God and are raising their baby girl in a loving home with Christ as the head. Just being around them inspires me to read the Bible more and evaluate my priorities.

David talked about the fact that he tends to become addicted to TV so he basically decided not to watch it. That is so impressive to me. I know I am a TV addict and that there are better ways that I could spend my time. I need to evaluate what godly things I am doing...and what more could be done.

I am just so happy for them. Hope to get together with them again soon. :)
