Things I Don't Want to Forget...

Luke at 4 1/2 Months

• The way that he coos and giggles at strangers so that they will pay attention to him


• How he wakes up in the morning...first he has a very serious face (his "grumpy gus" face) and then with smiles for momma. He usually doesn't cry in the morning when he wakes up. :)


• The way that he holds on to his bottle like a big boy


• His loud burps that sometimes sound like adult burps


• All of his little toot noises (that, once again, sometimes sound like adult toots!). Kind of embarrassing in public!!! lol


• The way that he kicks his legs and smiles during baths


• How quickly he falls asleep after bath time when I use the Johnson's Lavender Bedtime Bath (seriously, this stuff is so amazing!!!) and give him a little massage with the massage gel!


• The way that he throws his arms back and smiles when we take him out in the jogging stroller (even if it is just to wheel him around the house or go to the mailbox)


• How he stares intently at the phone when I hold it up so that he can hear his Grandma, Grandpa or his Auntie Vicki talk to him


• How he observes everything and just takes it all in


• When he stops eating so that he can look at the books that we read to him...sometimes he stops nursing just to stare at me and smile! :)


• How much he dislikes car rides (okay, I would be okay if I forgot this one!)!!

• All his sweet squeals and giggles and coos that he makes at us


• When he smiles really big in his sleep (as if he is having sweet dreams)


• How he stares at the toys on his mobile and swats at the stars on his swing


• The way that he sucks on his hands as if they were the most wonderful treat in the world


• How his mouth moves (as if he was sucking on his paccy) when he sleeps


• Sometimes during the night I hear him moving around and sometimes he rolls over on his side and heads right back to sleep...he loves sleeping on his side


• The way that he cuddles up with his glowworm and touches his face and gets upset when he stops glowing/playing music


• How cute he looks in his little footed pjs


• What a cuddly boy he is...he loves snuggling up with us and taking a nap


• How he stops crying when I pick him up...as if all is right with the world as long as mommy is near :)


• How teeny his little hands and feet are


• He lays down in the playpen and bats at the toys on his activity mat


• He sleeps through the night (from about 11 or 12 at night till 8 or 9 in the morning!)


• How happy he makes everyone. He puts smiles on many people's faces - whether it is family, friends, or random people we meet at the grocery store!
