A Christmas Quiz Just for Fun...
1. Eggnog or Hot Chocolate? Hot chocolate...definitely!! Eggnog is GROSS!
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? Wrap...he used to ring the doorbell and deliver them to the front door...
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? White icicle lights on the outside (according to mom, we lack pizzazz!) and white garland lights on the tree! Multi-colored lights on the tv...
4. Do you hang mistletoe? Nope, never have! Wouldn't mind having some, though!
5. When do you put your decorations up? Well, the tree is up all year but we decorated it for Christmas at the beginning of December...
6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? oh goodness...lots! Probably mom & dad's ham and my MIL's dressing
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child: Being sooo excited that it was finally Christmas!! I remember getting a lil kitchen oven and being so excited...and a microphone. I thought that thing was the coolest ever. I got really cool toys when I was little! Mom and dad always made the holidays really special!
8. What is your favorite Christmas movie? I can't pick just one...Elf, Home Alone, and It's a Wonderful Life
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? My side of the family opens all of our gifts on Christmas Eve...and with Brad's side we always open on Christmas Day early afternoon...Brad and I open ours on Christmas morning...
10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? Snowman fabric, white ribbon, white cluster lights, rust crosses, and some assorted ornaments we have received over our last four Christmases together.
11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? Love it, just wish we got it more!
12. Can you ice skate? Not well...last time I went I bit it bad and ended up with a large bruise on my behind.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? There are so many things that I've loved...my engagement ring was a really awesome Christmas day present! Growing up, all my toys were so cool!
14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? I love being with family...love the food...giving gifts...doing nice things for others...
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? I love all the Christmas baking...too many to pick just one!
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? I have a ton! We attend many Christmas outings to see Christmas lights, pageants, etc. We bake Christmas goodies and spend time shopping and wrapping. Oh, and we watch a lot of Christmas movies!
17. What tops your tree? Just a bow...I need to get a tree topper!!
18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving? Definitely giving...I love shopping for other people.
19. What is your favorite Christmas Song? I love the Hippotpotamous song, "Baby It's Cold Outside", and almost all of the songs on the Third Day Christmas CD!!
