Bible Trek

Is a brief overview of the Bible taught by a man named Scott Barkley. He went over so many things I have never really thought about before!

What is a Bible Trek™?
It is a five lesson trip through the entire Bible. We will purposely tackle some of the difficult areas. Our goal is to give answers in a concise form, to the following (among many):
Is the Bible a reliable document and source of truth?
Does science contradict the Bible?
Does the Bible really portray a plan?
What about Evolution vs. Creationism?
How can I have a relationship with God?
Is Jesus the Messiah?
When will the end times occur as Revelation predicts?
Why do bad things happen to good people?
And much more …

Our goal is not to study everything in the Bible, but to put the Biblical information in a context that is understandable and makes sense intellectually, chronologically and spiritually. In order to do this we will focus on what is absolutely essential to know and understand about he Bible and God’s plan, and leave the rest to later advanced studies. Since 1992, Bible Trek Ministries has been teaching the Bible Trek study in small groups in the central Texas area. To date over 3,000 people have gone through the Bible Trek and between 1500-2000 people have made new professions of faith! God is blessing us. If you ever get the chance to go to a Bible Trek...DO IT!!!! It is really amazing! Tonight was an overview of the Old Testament with an emphasis on Genesis. I will work on getting some notes from the first session on here soon. It is really awesome stuff!!!

I am so excited to see what God is going to show me in the next four weeks!! :) I love being surrounded by people who love the Lord! It is so refreshing to see my CBS family again!! :)
